A lovely way to display a collection of favorite spoons

together with the thick layers of wood

and it is possible that both dogs and sleds once sat upon a wood or bone plinth

with tiny holes down one edge from where it was stitched into a notebook and some staining to one bottom corner

I believe this huge hand-painted claw likely dates to the early 20th century
